Carols in the Street 2024
Our 5th Anniversary of the Augusta Street Christmas Party in partnership with our wonderful neighbours, was probably our biggest ever in both crowd in attendance and in the presentation program itself. The rain or ‘seafog’ hung around like a curtain but essentially stayed at bay for excellent community carol singing, led by our Australian Recording Artist mates – Crowd Fave Amber Nichols (aka LivLi), New comer but great old mate and guitarist / co-producer on Graeme’s ‘Better Now’ Album, Wayne Gardner, local recording artist/minister Gordon Barr, members of ‘The Elastic Band’ including Robert Sackett, Peter Sharp and Alex Lochhead, along with recording artists/producers and ministers at CCC Graeme & Kaz Hush (KayGee Music). We loved having our other ACT Region mates Dene Burton and Meryl Hinge running PA for us for the fourth time and of course wonderful support from the Jolly Red fellow and Rudolph the red nosed MG, and our chef’s and vendors extraordinaire, Heather and Yefta Sitepu and Ken’s Cones.
‘CITS’ is a huge annual undertaking and we are forever grateful for the volunteers from our church family and neighbours, facilitated by the incomparable Heather Rowles.
Thanks so much everyone and stay tuned for some big announcements in 2025. Enjoy the pics!!!

Carols in the Street 2020
Well, the street party for our 2020 Carols event was approved again for 2020 (see last year’s first ever one below in 2019). Thanks to our wonderful Augusta Street neighbours for their enthusiastic support of our annual Carols evening. The crowd was bigger than ever and all had a wonderful time. It was a difficult event to manage this time with all the COVID-19 requirements and restrictions, so thanks to all for supporting and enjoying safely!

Carols in the Street 2019
We had our first ever Street Party version of our annual Carols concert. Previous to this we had moved our carols out of the Hub and onto our front lawn, calling it Carols on the Lawn. Our 2019 Carols event as a street party was an initiative of our wonderful neighbours in August Street. The event went so well, we’ll be back for an even bigger street party in 2020! Meanwhile enjoy a few pictures of the event.
